Grizzly Ridge Construction – 2013.06.09 (Grizzly Exhibit)
this exhibit looks extremely small considering the placement of the fence posts. if they were so concerned about visitors not seeing these large bears, they should have incorporated the hillside and retention pond towards the aviary. the grade would provide the bears with lots of natural exercise and enrichment opportunities. another exhibit for visitors, and not the animals.

You cannot see a majority of the exhibit in the photos because the grizzly exhibit, the red wolf exhibit, and the otter exhibit are not visible outside the construction zone. The only exhibits that can been seen by the public before the grand opening are the aviary, the bald eagle exhibit, and the coyote exhibit. The grizzly bear exhibit is around 10,000 sq. ft. It will be the zoo's largest individual exhibit. The grizzly exhibit is also not flat. The edge you can see is by the pool and that is why it is flat.
