Komodo Kingdom - Komodo Dragon Indoor Exhibit

July 26th, 2010.
TNT had a sister ? In all the times I went to Akron(2004-today) I never saw his sister. Can someone upload a photo of her please?

TNT and Contessa came together to the zoo on 10/26/2001 from Miami. They lived in the hospital until Komodo Kingdom opened in 2005. I saw them while they lived there. They were never out together. She loved the pool in the exhibit. She died in early July 2007 from a ruptured abdominal blood vessel. TNT was the lone Komodo until Draco and Charlie’s arrival last year. There is a magnetic sign that stated which one is on exhibit. Today, it is where Draco and Charlie’s info is located.

I found this photo at Akron.com. I apologize how it is small. You can tell it is her because she is in the water.

Thanks for the photo, I kinda member her. She was slightly smaller than TNT. the whole thing about then not being on exhibit together kinda cleared up some confusion

Komodo

This exhibit is much better than Columbus' Komodo dragon exhibit in their Islands of Southeast Asia area. I sorta "grew up" with TNT and was sad when he died :(
