@Arizona Docent: is the rattlesnake museum worth visiting? It looks like it has an interesting collection of live rattlesnake species and a worthwhile message about not demonizing the snakes.
If you are in Albuquerque, it is definitely worth visiting. Not a very big place, but it is packed tight with more snake memorabilia than you ever thought existed, not to mention the wide variety of live rattlesnakes. As I said, it is located in Old Town which is also a great place to walk around for a couple hours and have lunch at the historic Mexican restaurant (I forget the name). The aquarium and botanical gardens are only about half a mile away.
