Chester Zoo had some Naultinus for a while and I was fascinated by them, but they were kept in a thickly planted vivarium and I could never get a clear photo.
When I first walked past this small tank I couldn't see a single lizard. An hour later and the sun had hit the side of the tank, and they were all out right up against the glass. The daytime maximum in Wellington last weekend was only 14ºC, but the wind made it feel more like 10º.
