Featuring Yellow-bibbed Lories and Rainbow Lorikeets.
Question Time:

1- Are those towels to dry the hands of visitors?
2- Is that sawdust on the floor?
3- What's with the ladder and fake greenery?
4- Why orcas on the wall in a lorikeet aviary?
5- Is this the world's smallest walk-through aviary?
6- Is this exhibit a total shambles?

I could go on all day as this picture speaks a thousand words.;)

I will answer as best as I can.

1. Yes, there is a touch tide pool just to the left of this view. Such towel racks are found throughout the facility.

2. Those are woodchips which must have escapes from the flooring of the aviary.

3. The ladder is for the employees to get to the lory's feeding dishes, I suppose.

4. The orcas were painted before they decided to do lories. At least I hope so.

5. No. This isn't a walkthrough, though you can pay to feed the lories where you are led into the cage by staff to do so.

6. It is a bit chaotic.

It is VERY bizarre.

I hope the birds can't relate to the huge flat whale things on the wall; they could give them the willies ['There's that whale again']
