Without unjustly badmouthing this facility, this is the only time I've ever seen anyone try to house jellies in such a setup and I feel that this is probably a case of ignorance on their part.
The office table is quiet. Everyone is thinking of an idea for Aquarium Boise. One person was gonna say something, but didn't have the idea. The boss says, "We have nothing. We have alot of money, but we don't know what to do with it. Anyone has ideas? Anyone?" People had ideas, like "How about another aquarium?", "What about a walk-through tunnel?", until one guy said, "How about aquariums that are bought from PetSmart an we can make the sea animal's exhibit look poor?" The boss got up from his chair, shocked. He stood in front of the window saying, "That might work. OF COURSE!" He turns around, excited, "GENTLEMEN! We have an idea!" Thus, making Josh the head of the aquarium industry. The end.
I'm almost surely the only individual on this site who has visited the aquariums in Boise, San Antonio, Austin and Portland (which is already closed) and to be honest they are all shockingly awful places. The moon jellyfish tank in this photo is simply one example of the shoddy, mediocre exhibitry on display, with many questionable animal husbandry patterns throughout all 4 facilities.

I am pleased to report that the Boise facility has had a tremendous turn around regarding the level of animal care since ousting the Covino's and gaining new leadership. This is the only Covino founded aquarium that was set up as a non profit and has grown into a small but valuable community asset.
