I didnt realize there were any sea snakes in the US...now I have a very good reason to visit this aquarium!

Oh, there are a lot of reasons to visit this great aquarium. But before you go to California, call them if the sea kraits are still alive...I've seen Seakraits at the Dallas Zoo in 2002, but they died until my next visit there in 2005, but they got new ones, I don't know, if they are still alive. I wonder, that the Georgia Aquarium isn't keeping Sea snakes.

Georgia Aquarium doesnt seem to like reptiles that much, only one sea turtle and some american alligators.

When I was at the aquarium this past August I saw at least 3 sea kraits, they also had 5 mudskippers in the same tank. I have some pics of the aquarium in the gallery.

In the state of Florida there are many restrictions involved having sea snakes.
*only males can be maintained
*cannot be held in a county along the coast
*can only be imported into an airport within an inland county
*status of collection must be report every 6-12 months, I think or at least once a year

That's funny Chlidonias, as I was going to declare the same thing about a week ago and then decided to wait and see if anyone else would take my place. It is definitely a tank that is far too small for the kraits.
