As soon as I stopped anywhere in this park animals would come running over. I pulled ahead to leave the mammals behind and then I counted more than 75 turtles crawling out of the water looking for tidbits of food. The crazy thing is that I didn't even purchase any food containers as I was attempting to avoid the onslaught. Curiously enough, the turtles were all smart enough to stop and avoid being crushed by my car tires...maybe they were ninja turtles.
