They are a pair of beautifully constructed treehouses for children, and they will offer an ejoyable lookout over the desert landscape. I believe that there will be an assortment of kids activities there, and that will constitute something called Coati Clubhouse. I seem to remember that they were located near the Desert Grassland section, and judging from the photos that places the treehouses just before the prairie dog habitat.
Also, on the zoo map there are locations written in for a future tortoise exhibit, a future mule deer exhibit, and a future exhibit hall building...which are all along the Desert Loop Trail and just before visitors reach the brilliant coyote enclosure.
