Life On The Rocks

First large habitat inside Life On The Rocks, July 25, 2009. Has several frogs and a couple small birds.

Just like everything else at the ASDM, this exhibit is excellent and well designed.

I'm glad to see that this exhibit finally opened. It seems to have been under construction for nearly a decade!

Yes, it took way too long to build a relatively small exhibit area for only small animals. Right next to it is an exhibit hall that is still under indefinite construction (although the rock exterior which extends indistinguishably from Life On The Rocks is done). Supposedly this will one day house a dinosaur skeleton, but I'll believe it when I see it.

This was my favorite exhibit here, besides the desert walk and aviary.
