I have been following along with your road trip and have been loving your pictures of many zoos and aquariums I only know very little about.
However I feel terrible for this bear! To be so close to Mt. Rushmore you'd think a better habitat could be developed (or a bear treadmill). At least they have 100 black bears!

Since this photo was taken, Tank (the grizzly bear presumedly in this photo) has passed away in 2020. Javelinas now reside here as of my visit one month ago.
