I found the remains of these two Fat Tailed Dunnarts inside a cats stomach. There used to be lots of Dunnarts on this property, but now there are lots of cats and no Dunnarts have been seen for years until I found these ones. So there must be some still surviving.

What else do you normally find in cats stomachs Monty? Are there dingos around your place?

No Dingos on this place. It is a sheep station in Western NSW and I have been told dingos are 100km away. Although there is an occasional one seen closer.

I usually find lots of feathers and chewed up bird pieces in cats stomachs.

Once I found one full of Skinks.

It was interesting that the back half of both Dunnarts were fairly intact. The rest was chewed up and there was nothing else in the stomach except Dunnarts.
