That's one huge gharial in one poor exhibit.

That is not a small creature. Is there any more land out-of-shot? Doesn't look like enough land for the bigger animal to lie straight out on dry land, which is not ideal.

I'm not so sure, I think he'd fit.
They have these in Singapore don't they?

This is about 90% of the exhibit.

Its in the reptile house, but this are not gharials, this are false gharials, the Bronx has kept gharials in the Jungle World, but as far as I know, they passed away a few years ago.

I think there are Cuban Crocs to the right of this, also in a poor exhibit.

The keeper in the Reptile House told me that the gharials formerly found in JW were sent to San Diego.

that's quite a large gharial, wonder how he got that large being cramped and not being able to strech out. Yes singapore do have these, and not just in one exhibit.
