Madagascar! - Coquerel's Sifaka (Seemingly Tebowing)

Sorry about the blurriness of the photo, but it was the only picture I had of this Sifaka doing what resembles the act of Tebowing. Enjoy.

You know, I've actually seen snakes Tebowing!

It was a joke guys, you know, 'cause snakes don't have any limbs... Awh, forget it.

Sorry I haven't been on for a while, but I appreciate the joke, haha. I was, however, holding out hope to see a Tebowing snake when I went to the Bronx a week ago. No such luck though

It must be an American thing...I just had to look up what Tebowing is.

It is pathetic.

Let's put it this way: sifakas from Madagascar are among the most extraordinary examples of evolution one could imagine. Those who "Tebow" are following an athlete whose religious beliefs deny the concept of natural selection/evolution.

Only in America.....

Just so you know, reduakari, I am not a fan of Tim Tebow at all; I actually had no idea who he was until my cousin mentioned him a few months ago. I had no idea what his religious beliefs were either, but I could care less, quite honestly, him being a pro athlete and all.

I realize you may not have been referring to me, or RockTheThought; I simply wanted it known.

No offense intended to you (or even to RockTheThought, whatever that is).
I'm just so disturbed by America's anti-science trajectory, which Tebow is just another piece of, that I felt compelled to respond.

RockTheThought is the username of the person who posted this picture.

I have to say that the religion/ science controversy did not even cross my mind when posting this picture, haha.

While each is entitled to his or her own opinion, I don't think one necessarily has to take a side in this type of debate. I would consider myself a rather religious person, yet I still believe in the scientific approaches of natural selection and evolution.

And though Tebowing has been blown a bit out of proportion at least it fuels some conversation... Right?
