Whoops! This was actually taken on October 16, 2011. There are 13 other photos in the gallery with the same mistake on them, but I do not wish to comment on all of them, so please forgive me for my mistake.
The tenrecs are the first exhibit on the right in the area immediately following the Nile Crocodile enclosure. It's an area that resembles JungleWorld's "Unseen Multitude" section since it highlights some of the smaller animals found on Madagascar.

I've visited the Bronx Zoo many times throughout my life and seen these exhibits but I've never seen the tenrec. When did they get it as I have not been there since Nov. of 2011.

That's right where they were! Thanks for the advice!
@BZF- I believe the zoo has four Ring-Tailed Mongoose- the pair on exhibit and their offspring. At least that ZooLex thing you posted (I think you posted) says they have "1,1+young".
Oh wow, I didn't know they had offspring. You'd think the zoo would publicize new babies. But can anyone else confirm that the Ring-Tailed Mongooses at the Bronx have successfully bred?
