I have seen green hoopoe in the peacock's enclosure yesterday. But the red river hog, DeBrazza's Monkey, Maxwell's duiker didn't show up. Meanwhile, the colobus enclosure has a sign showing they are Angolan, but they are really East black-and-white~~ I doubt if there are any Angolan kept in this zoo~~

Oh yeah I forgot about the Green Hoopoe. If the Mandrill were on exhibit then you wouldn't see the river hogs are they alternate in that exhibit. As for the DeBrazza's Monkeys they should be in with the Mandrills but for whatever reason either were hidding or just weren't out. I've only ever seen the duikers once. I agree regarding the Angolan Colobuses.

Do they still have a goliath beetle in this exhibit?

Yes they do! I took a few pics but don't think they're good enough to be posted though I could post one if you want but it's a bit blurry (not too bad, though). The species they have is Goliathus cacicus.

Hi Thylo, next time you are in Congo Forest if you think about it could you take some pictures of the forest elephant display that they have in there with the model tree that looks like it has been tusked by the elephant and the big theater that opens up to the view of the gorilla exhibit?

I don't think that anyone has posted any pictures of these show elements.

I don't recall an elephant display but I do recall a big random tree in the middle of the building thought I don't remember there being tusk marks. Do you mean the main room where you first see the gorillas? Sure, it's a large, noisy, and impressive room with a huge crowd always lining the exhibit glass.

The next time I'll be there will probably be the weekend before September 18th because that's when my membership expires for the year.
