Haha .. lucky you. I tried to see Kiwis in Smithsonian Zoo & San Diego Zoo - no luck. Yesterday was my first time to see it as well. Very dark & no decent photo, but I saw it .. Finally ! LOL
I am going to visit Bronx again this week. Hopefully Peruvian Pelicans will be on display by then.
You've had all of these photos up for a little while now, and only now am I noticing them. I'm really liking all of your pictures, honestly - the sunbird close-ups, the junglefowl, the photo of the water monitor with its head half-submerged, this one, the BoP with the tawny frogmouth... Keep it up.
