European Goldfinch

I quite like this enclosure. It's probably the only European specific enclosure I've ever seen. Its current inhabitants are Western Capercaillie, Smew, Common Hoopoe, Azure-Winged Magpie, Song Thrush, and now European Goldfinch.
that would be the east-Asian Azure-winged Magpie? :p

Aw, it's like one of those 'African' aviaries (or, indeed, paddocks) full of species sharing nothing but a continent. There isn't a single country in Europe where all of those regularly occur (though I think Spain has all except the Smew). S'alright, we've got loads of those as well! :D

Don't suppose you noticed if the magpies had white tail-tips? ;)
