I know it was too much to hope for another flamingo species (they used to have James and Andean in the collection) or a move of the American flamingos so something new could go in their exhibit. Were the black swans or any other waterfowl present?
They had them back in the 1980s-1990s. I remember them in the yard next to the Aquatic Bird Building. The sign for James flamingo was up for several years too after they left.
