Stork and Fruit Bats

Painted Stork (Mycteria leucocephala) and Indian Flying Fox (Pteropus giganteus)

*Rodrigues Flying Fox

Perhaps the Indians have been moved here now with the Rodrigues being in the tree-kangaroo enclosure, but to my understanding the bats here have always been Rodrigues and the Indians have been in the langur enclosure.

At one time they had introduced Malayan Flying foxes to this part of Jungle World; however I never recalled seeing them since I believe they are a lot larger than the Rodriguies fruit bats. The Indian flying foxes having always been in the trees above the Javan langars since they were introduced several years ago.
