Look forward to visiting the new exhibit soon - great map, too.
Can anyone tell us anything about the Ambassador Pavilion? Is it just a private indoor holding area for the animals staff bring out or is there more to it?

It is not only a space where you can hold private events, but there is a decent-sized room where people can see one of the ambassador animals during cold or inclement weather. There are also off-exhibit holding areas for the animal ambassadors.

Dear god, what a hideous map! Did the zoo pay money for someone to do this? It looks like a middle schooler played around on MS Paint for about 30 minutes.

It looks a lot more to me in the same style as their usual printed zoo maps, which usually aren't good for much in-exhibit navigation as much as telling you what animals are in what area. We'll probably see the same thing blown down for the main map... I can't imagine this on a big sign by itself though.
