You just summarized most of the Buffalo Zoo! Apart from the new rainforest building that was renovated a year or so ago most of the zoo is subpar at best.
The Rainforest building was actually built a couple years ago, but renovated. But I agree, it's one of the best parts of the zoo and a favorite among visitors.
I do like the idea of the ecostations, but I admit, I usually walk by them as they don't excite me. I wish they could spruce this exhibit up and maybe add some tree kangaroos, but I'm not sure if they're in the same ecosystem as these wallabies and birds and I know it's just wishful thinking.
