thanks - is it the shape of the head?...or is the pattern different. I was sure i checked the labels - anyway, now i know.

The pattern/colouring is the bigger giveaway, I'll attach a picture of a reticulated python patterning rather than explain it :)
 
Pattern and colour - retics usually have the light coloured background, Burms are deeper brown.

Of course, I'm talking about the wild morphs, not the designer snakes that look nothing like the originals.

@Sasha, there are two signs at the enclosure, one for retics and one for burmese pythons ;)

I'm not a huge fan of morphs, the great majority of species have nice enough patterning anyway. You could argue that 'scaleless' morph snakes border on animal cruelty as you have to be careful of the amount of heat you give them as they burn very easily :mad:

That would explain my mistake - and to think i made two visits when i was there! Must learn to be more observant.
