Rhino Rally

This is a Land Rover ride with a tour guide driver which explores a route through several African field exhibits. It features some scripted dramatic moments including several tunnel and water crossings and a bridge collapse that sends the vehicle into a river where it becomes a barge and floats past a waterfall.

This is the only part of Rhino Rally that makes no sense. You're in a Land Rover on an African Safari and suddenly you come across asian elephants!

Yes ... but still seens like a good enclosure for Asians (judging from this small small pic), right?

To be fair, this elephant habitat is really at the edge of the Rhino Rally route, as it leaves the station and before it continues into the field exhibits. But in the larger context, yes it is located in a theme park that is African themed. The elephant exhibit is only average compared to some others opening recently or soon, but it is certainly larger than my photo shows here.

The tigers are not near the Rhino Rally or African field exhibits. Instead, they are in a new area called Jungala, with orangutans and flying foxes and gharial from Asia, which is the only Asian themed area. Interestingly, they renamed Busch Gardens Africa back to its earlier name, Busch Gardens Tampa, not long after Jungala opened.

I've always wondered why they don't have africans

Busch Gardens has had a extensive history with asians. When Roman Schmitt was breeding elephants there it was one the most successful breeding programs ever (18 birth, 12 still alive today). They have had at least two africans ove the years as well.
