I know that this is a common mix in the zoo world, but somehow, Kasi and Mtani took America by storm. The duo have been on TV with Jay Leno before, so that added up to more fame. Maybe Kasi's story, about him being rejected from his mother, and him becoming BGT's first Cheetah baby made some people pay more attention to his plight. When he was paired up with Mtani, people were really interested in how two different species, cats and dogs, became best friends. I think that Busch Gardens just showed so much attention to this pair than other zoos have paid to their cheetah-puppy duos.
