This is a general assumption, but I have begun to wonder if windows in tiger exhibits have a negative effect. Lately I've seen the tigers pace back and forth in front of it. However, each exhibit has areas to hide in the back so perhaps they chose to interact with guests.
Well, I know on this particular occasion the tiger in the photo was near the glass because it was feeding time and there was a keeper nearby carrying a load of meat.
