Good to get them both in the shot. When I see the chicks the parents are usually close to my head. They dont usually stay on the ground with the chicks if you go near them.
The adults were used to me walking into the backyard during incubation. They would still fly at me, but became used to me and would often settle down if I behaved myself.
Funny you should bring this up today - this morning I was attacked by a trio of Noddys when I inadvertently came too close to their nests.
