On this visit to CALM the weather was mild, overcast, and in the mid 60s. That will hardly be the case when the summer weather arrives in Bakersfield. And with little shade provided for them, there probably won't be many opportunities to view them. Hopefully they'll be allowed indoors to escape the heat.
