Compare all of the numerous photos of this jaguar exhibit to the one at the Woodland Park Zoo. The Seattle establishment created a lush rainforest environment, with a deep pool, that makes it difficult to spot the elusive South American feline. Cameron Park has an obvious fence line, a massive pole in one of the photos, numerous fake rock and short, closely-shaved grass to invoke images of a soccer field. Ugh.
I completely agree with you on how good the Woodland park exhibit is. Wish that there were something like that around here for Jaguars. I will say though, that this is the only disappointing exhibit in the whole zoo.
