This is a fascinating historical photo. The current location of Central Florida Zoo is not that big by zoo standards, but it does have some acreage. I once saw a Jack Hanna episode where he is in Sanford at the location of the original zoo, which he was director of before Columbus, and he was standing in a parking lot. He said the entire zoo was in this small parking lot and I just couldn't believe it. But here is picture proof. This postcard apparently shows the entire zoo - imagine that?
