The gentoo and chinstrap have had many chicks over the years. The king penguins are all male from seaworld I beleieve. The rockhopper is new and there is only one to my knowlodge.

Maybe they take the gulls out when the other birds are breeding. BUT, I still wouldn't trust Greater Black-backs with anything smaller than a pelican.

aren't all their penguin chicks hand-raised though? That's the impression I get from their news items.
