this terrarium looks like it should be housing a tarantula or something. I think the Marvel is that they Misunderstood the basic space requirements for a large reptile!
Yeah, I couldn't agree more. For any snake species, especially Boidae and Pythonidae, the tank/terrarium should be the same width as the snake's length. Having kept several snake species myself (Ie Woma python, Macklott's python, Dumeril's boa, Solomon Islands ground boa, Madagascar giant hognose snake, Madagascar speckled hognose snake, Red-sided garter snake etc.) that is what I did. Unfortunately, I had to part ways with my herp collection for financial reasons.
