Himalayan Passage was completed in 2006, and this area of the zoo includes snow leopards, red pandas, Indian muntjacs and rarely exhibited Hanuman langurs. All of the Asian exhibits are nice but fairly basic, but yet more examples of improvement at this tiny zoo. Chattanooga not only has the zoo but also one of America's very best aquariums, and in nearby cities there are worthwhile zoos such as Memphis, Knoxville and Nashville.
