There are four sections to the Bird House - the entrance room includes the indoor quarter for the Socorro Doves and Southern Three-banded Armadillos, the second is this large savannah-themed walkthrough, the third a central lobby with sloths and vivaria, and the final one a second walkthough in the same scale and arrangement for rainforest birds.
The back section of the enclosure is an outdoor aviary with a retractable glass roof and walls, so it is an outdoor exhibit in good weather but still usable for the birds if the weather is bad.
