This all looks very nice. As another forum thread discussed, most zoos have boring entrances. Good job Cincinnati!
They are also in the application process to receive LEED platinum certification for this project. That is a certification granted by the Green Building Council proving the project adheres to the highest level of sustainable practices. There are four levels of certification (I think), with platinum being the highest and very difficult to achieve. If they are successful, it will only be the second zoo-based project to acheive platinum certification. (Of course I have to throw in the fact that my home zoo, Reid Park Zoo, has the first!).
