I'm not sure if the Buff-cheeked Gibbons ever shared this exhibit with orangutans. I only remember seeing them in one of the indoor enclosures (I believe they were even held in the African building for a while). I would say that the White-handed Gibbons do not currently share the exhibit with the orangutans because of the baby.

I can't say that I ever remember them being outside until they moved to Gibbon Islands. I would say that the picture was taken since they moved to Gibbon Islands, or it's a picture from a different zoo. They often do that with some of the pictures for animal profiles on their website and app.
I never denied that fact, as the White-handed Gibbons were out with the Orangutans up until around the time of the incident. I was talking about the Buff-cheeked Gibbons, which I cannot remember being outdoors before they moved to the Gibbon Islands. Before they moved they were kept indoors in the African building of Jungle Trails. I had forgotten about the incident, but I do believe that the White-handed Gibbons were out some after the incident. I have photos of the gibbons out in the exhibit from the summer of 2009.
