This grotto was unveiled in 1934 and sadly 77 years later it is practically identical to how it appeared on opening day. Even the "Lords of the Arctic" polar bear exhibit is simply two grottoes combined and renovated. Why hasn't there been a redevelopment of the bear enclosures?
Unfortunately, yes, this is the whole exhibit. The Spectacled Bears have an identical exhibit right next to this one, but there are some large logs/ small climbing frames. The bears currently on exhibit, at least the American Black Bears, are on the older side. Hopefully once these bears pass the bear grottos will be renovated again.

You've made your point like over 20 different times that these are awful, at least Kudu looks at the positive side of this like saying there are logs for them to climb on
As reduakari said, there isn't much "positive" about the grottos in any fashion, I was merely stating the difference between the two grottos in question. Both of the grottos are truly awful.
I've really tried to stay out of this whole mess, but at this point it's really starting to get ridiculous.
