Wildlife Canyon story: In circa 1878 this area opened as Virginia Deer Park showcasing elk and white-tailed deer. In 1942, 10 paddocks were built for the attraction the Deer Line. There were bison, fallow deer, llamas, and many more hoofed creatures. In 1989, the paddocks were renovated into Wildlife Canyon, with Mhorr gazelles, camels, takins, and Sumatran rhinos. Now it features six possibly seven rare and interesting species.
