Sorry, I have another question! I just want to compare some notes regarding the takin, as I am uncertain as to how many remain at the zoo. Was this female the only takin on exhibit, or were there others? On my last visit there was only a single takin (the calf from 2009) on exhibit. On my visit prior to that there were two takin (the calf from 2009 and another which remained partially in the indoor area making it unidentifiable) on exhibit.

No worries, keep the questions coming Every time that I've visited the zoo there have been three takins out, whether they were out in the sun or in the shelter.
Thank you Now, could you tell if the takin on display were the adult female and her two calves, or if the bull was present and one of the other three was missing? I'm just wondering, as I have not seen the bull on exhibit in quite some time...
