It's a 150 yard cheetah running demonstration yard. The only one in America. It also showcases a red river hog, serval, and a fishing cat.

It is also home to the fasted cheetah in captivity, Sara.

While other tracks might not be the same length, it's definately not the only one of its kind in America. San Diego Zoo Safari Park and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay both have Cheetah running demonstrations.

I'm pretty sure Cincinnati is the first and only zoo in America. ;)

Ah, then they must have been made after the video was made since it is pretty old.

Yes and Cincinnati may be the only one with seating.

But as mentioned, Busch Gardens and SD Safari Park have similar tracks and other zoos have (or had) lure runs set up in their regular cheetah exhibits. I have seen this myself at Phoenix Zoo and Smithsonian National Zoo and I have seen pulleys in the ground for lures (but not actually seen it done) at Philadelphia Zoo and perhaps one or two others.

Kansa City Zoo also has a lure run and a great exhibit that places the cats slightly higher than the public with moats containing the cats.
