I have not seen it recently, but heard they were going to do sand cat, which is a much better exhibit for the animal size wise. It was the afgan leopard, which you can see by the size of the animal was way to small. It was a exhibit that was at the end of the path with the snow leopard right next to it on the right.

So it was the Pallas' cat exhibit, my third guess.

Lets me honest, except for the ocelot, rusty spotted, pampas cat and a couple of the real small cats, most exhibits were way to small, but I have addressed that before. I am sorry I didn't get a chance about 4 years ago when we were at a RAW conference and when to the zoo, I didn't get to see the changes to the small cat house. I have heard the change of animals is much better.

I think Kudu21 can answer the last part as he has many times. I'll show the differences.

I am certain that this is the current Arabian sand cat enclosure. Just compare the mural and the rock work:

I do not really have the time at the moment to redescribe the changes that have been made, but they have been mainly positive ones. It's still not an ideal setup, perhaps minus the vampire bat enclosure, but it is a lot better than it was.

I think Kudu21 is right, watch this.

Most of the wall exhibits were expanded up and out during the renovation.
-Caracal-unchanged
-The Geoffroy's and margay exhibits were combined into one big bearcat exhibit.
-The bearcats have 5X more space than before.
-The fossa and tayra exhibits were combined to create one habitat for the breeding tayras.
-Bat-eared fox-Was turned into the exit area. The second exhibit was unchanged.
-Fennec foxes are in the old meerkat exhibit. The foxes had about 3X less space.
-Fishing cat-unchanged.
-Bobcat-unchanged
-Sand cat-unchanged-more sand and dirt was added.
-Black-footed cat-rock was reduced, logs were taken out.
-Ocelot-unchanged
-Serval to Aardvark/Galago/Bat-I believe the large tree inside it today was added along with branches for the fruit bats. The river system is gone. The exhibit can be viewed from inside the potto enclosure as well.
-Clouded leopard-unchanged-leopard can view a banded palm civet through a window.
-Coati to Aardwolf-Maybe for dirt was added. New murals.
-Snow Leopard to Fossa-Angle of the window was changed and logs and vines were added to it.
-Pallas' cat-unchanged-expanded ceiling and some rock work.

Just some notes:
-I would rephrase how you explained the gain of space by the binturongs. The way you worded it makes it seem like they lost space, when in fact they gained it.

-The fishing cat enclosure was changed. There was the addition of the pool and several branches.

-Sand was added to the old meerkat enclosure for the foxes.

The plant circle in the rotunda was taken out and interactive sign maker machines were added. The steps that were across the servals and the leopards is not a vampire bat exhibit. Viewing for the lynx from indoors was taken out. Now the window is a dark room with a light bulb hanging from it.
