Jul. 2012-Kuvua the Okapi!

Rhino Reserve: Circle around Indian, and black rhinos, along with other African animals such as the rare okapi, bongos, and flamingos.

She is pregnant and will give birth around November/December of 2012.

It's always nice to see one of the okapis; it's just a shame that only one can be out on exhibit at a time. Hopefully the bongo herd can move to the zebra yard when the zebras move to Africa!; this would free up both of the side-bye-side yards for use by the okapis.

I can't wait until we have a new okapi this month.
