You should see Bronx's! Unfortunately, there isn't a very good picture of it that I could find on here but it's just one big cave-like exhibit with thousands of these little guys. It's the one exhibit my mom won't go near

I don't think the Bronx's is overcrowded. It certainly has a lot, with approximately 58,000 roaches, but there is a good amount of space compared to most other insect exhibits, such as this with a multitude of insects clinging to a single small stump.
And for those that don't know what he means by "naming the roaches", it's a Valentine's Day Special. Bronx Zoo: Name a Roach
