Is was pretty hot that day. But the two cats looked fine just resting in the shade. I would think that, if enough shade is provided, the cats would be just fine. It gets pretty hot in the summer in New York as well and Bronx's cats seem to do alright also.
I've only been to two Florida collections, those being Lowry Park and Discovery Cove and neither had them. I wouldn't think the AZA would put them in any Florida zoos, though.
I know some zoos in Australia have them and it gets quite hot there I'd imagine.

They would do well in Wyoming if we ever got zoos. It gets plenty cold. I did see one in Omaha a year ago and it didn't look too happy in the 103 degrees it was that day.
Tulsa has snow leopards, and has had them for many years. They do quite well and have even bred successfully. During the summer heat they always have access to their air-conditioned den.
Zooworld in Panama City, Florida had a pair of snow leopards in the late 1990's. I'm not sure where they were sourced from, but they only lived there a couple years before being replaced by Jjaguars.
