World of the Insect: What is an Insect?: This replaced the dragon-headed katydid, also does anyone know what species these actually are?

It never had a subspecies on the sign, only a genus, and I forget what it is. Look up Desert Rainworm if that helps.

Well what was the genus?

Looking up Desert Rainworm only brings up results for the Arizona Desert Millipede (Orthoperus ornathus).

No, they didn't have an actual name for it until now.

By definition if you have been calling them Amazon Millipedes, then you *have* been calling them the wrong name as Arizona is not in the Amazon :p

I just realized you said Arizona and not Amazon, so I don't think thats the species. I'm 40 ft away from World of the Insect, I'll go look in 30 minutes.
