If I ran things there I don't think I'd include the vulture in there like that, and I'd only have maybe either a couple kudu or impala in with a few gazelles, and no Ostrich. I think this would look really great that way!

Well for one a vulture is more of a carnivorous species, and one that's used to soaring around searching for food. Like all Birds of Prey I find they are more suited to being in large free-flight aviaries if anything. I've just always found it odd and a bit wrong to display vultures in enclosures with large hoofstock species. Let's face it, once the larger species start coming in, the vulture might not venture off the island too often.
The shelducks might be a tad odd as well, but they can use the "stream" and, if they decide to stay more on the island, they're smaller and of course the water gives them more room to explore and move around.

How are the shelducks odd and out of place? The barrier for this enclosure is a large pond with a small island in it. That's perfect for some waterfowl!
