Well this wasn't here before. I believe they added a memorial painting and some new signs and such. When I went they talked about Martha and the parakeet (including stuffed specimens) and then, if memory serves, about different Extinct species and conservation and what not.

Yes those history and conservation signs are on the side and back walls. There is a wall in the center now with a beautiful painting and behind it is the display featured in the photo. There are also paper pigeons hanging from the ceiling (photo in the zoo's album).
