An exhibit for a Thai red mountain rat snake.
Is there a wetbox or some wet hiding place?
Otherwise it's too dry.

No? But these are reptiles, I would expect a wetbox to be suited more for amphibians.

A lot of reptiles also live in wet environments(I.E. all crocodilians). Most reptiles that aren't from the desert or semi-arid environment require some sort of wet box or exhibit misting.

even those that live in the Desert take shelter in burrows they made or found. they wouldn't survive without some form of shelter. even xeric habitat has moisture/humidity available. maybe not on the surface, but go down in the mass, it will be found.

? do you think all reptiles live in the desert and without shelter?;) oh man,....
I keep those snakes myself, they inhabit cool highlands and they are ground-dwelling as well,...

I was confused because I've never heard of a reptile exhibit that is completely drenched water.

a "wetbox" is a container of damp substrate (soil, sphagnum, something like that) which is inside the terrarium, which the snake can use as a damp shelter, and which also helps with maintaining humidity levels.

He wasn't meaning the entire terrarium should be a wet box.

You obviously haven't seen Bronx's Children Zoo alligator tank:p

And sea turtle exhibits are completely drenched in water as are many other turtle exhibits.

This now contains a small Yellow Pond Turtle, the entire exhibit is filled in water.
