Judging by the title, I'm guessing this might not be the most educational of shows?

Its the most educational show I've seen. More than Indianapolis' former dolphin show. I'll try to break down each and every thing that would be considered educational along with the humor added.
-They show how balanced, coordinated and how strong macaws are by having a Hyacinth Macaw vertically climb up and down a thin line of rope.
-They show how Red-legged Seriemas hunt by throwing their food in the air (plastic lizard)
-Obviously they show the vocal skills of some birds: Barred Owl, Cockatoo, and Amazon. The cockatoo and Amazon both speak with baseball references including, "Take me out to the ball game", or, "I want a beer."
-They show why birds are important to the ecosystem to maintain pest control. By doing so they have about 10 rats runs across the roof line of the stage.
-They show an Abyssinian Ground Hornbill constantly banging a turtle shell (with Bob underneath).
-African Penguin / Elusive swimming speed, facts, etc.
-Bald Eagle / Flight along with a story about the comeback of the Bald Eagle within the country.
-Green-winged Macaw, Blue-and-Gold Macaw, Rhinoceros Hornbill, Lanner Falcon, Hyacinth Macaw / Flight
-Black Vulture / Describe their scavenger eating patterns as the vulture lands on a passed out Bob.
-Emu / Chasing Bob back into the stage / Facts

Ok, im impressed now. I've seen many bird shows but what you're describing makes me want to go to Cincinnati right now. Also Indianapolis Zoo no longer does the dolphin shows?

They do however, they completely disposed of the educational value to the new show. Although it may no longer have annoyingly loud music, they also don't have any trainer descriptions to the many features of a dolphin. The point of the show now is to display the bond between the animals by using slow and emotional tracks and their trainers when it used to be about showing: How dolphins can communicate with breaching, what fish they hunt, how fast they swim, how to train them, and how to understand their own language.

Hey, as long as there's no loud and annoying music, I might as well go and see it ;)

Parrots saying "I want a beer" doesn't sound particularly educational to me... Sounds like completely the wrong message for a zoo to be giving.

I fail to see how. It's to describe the fan base of professional sports in America... and the parrot isn't wrong... AKA... Humor.

A parrot asking for a beer is in no way any sort of natural behaviour.

Although a parrot saying "hello" isn't either, asking for a beer gives the message that a beer is an appropriate thing to give a bird and all you get is a cheap laugh from the audience.

And are you saying that drunks are the fan base of professional sports in America?
