I doubt this affected the plans of adding the atrium, if anything I wouldn't be surprised if they wanted to hurry up as soon as possible and get construction started early so people don't visit the current exhibit and visualize the incident. What could be changed to the plans is the elevated overlook view of the outdoor yard. As you probably heard, the fence was renovated and is now higher than the last one and they expect it to work for the time being. If they trust this then maybe nothing will be changed at all in the end
These signs have been added to exhibits across the zoo in potentially problematic areas. And that is correct. The Gorilla World renovation and indoor atrium are still very much in the works. Fund raising is expected to be completed by the end of the year, with construction beginning in the spring. It is the zoo's next big project, with a renovation and expansion of the elephant facilities to follow.
